Arena Grand Movie Theatre FAQs

How many people do I need to have a private screening?
All of our 11 theatres are available to rent and we can accommodate groups of 4 to 400 people. We have even held romantic private screenings for two that involved wedding anniversaries and marriage proposals!

How much does a private screening cost?
It depends on a number of factors including the size of your group, the day and time you are interested in, if you want to see a movie on its opening weekend, etc. Please contact the events department at events@arenagrand.com to inquire about a specific day, time and movie for quotes.

How much notice do we need to give to book a private screening?
Typically we ask for a week's notice but have been able to arrange private screenings with less notice. Please contact the events department at events@arenagrand.com to see if we can accommodate you.

Do you have birthday party rates?
For $10.00 per person you can receive a movie ticket, small popcorn and small soda for each member of your group. You need a minimum of 10 people to constitute a group and if you have 20 people or more you might want to upgrade to a private theatre. Please contact the events department at events@arenagrand.com for more information.

Do we have to watch movies that are currently playing?
No you don't. In fact, we have the ability to show DVDs in each of our theatres as well as broadcasts from live television.

Can we bring in our own food?
The Arena Grand Movie Theatre doesn't allow outside food items to be brought in but does offer a great selection of catered items for your group. Everything from hors d'oeuvres, full meals and even good old fashioned movie popcorn are all available. If you have a birthday party we do allow groups to bring in their own cakes but all other items should be ordered through the events team.

Where should we park?
The Arena Grand Movie Theatre is attached to the Marconi Parking Garage and can validate parking there for only $1.00 per car with the purchase of a movie ticket. Bring in your parking stub that you receive on the way in to validate at our Box Office.
